We are going to sell things on e-bay. My partner lives in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. But he can't accept payments there. Is it legal for me who lives in New york, US to accept payments for him through PayPal, money orders, checks?

There's no law saying you can't accept payments for your partner. Even eBay does not have anything that says a third party cannot accept payment. It is more between you and your partner.

The main concern I have is how to explain to buyers that cheque or money order payment (if paypal, they won't know your address as it is simply email) are sent to NY but they have to wait 3 weeks or so for the item because it comes from Uzbekistan. That's the only thing I see that you need to work out.

Biographical Documentary DVD - Part of the Biography television series from A&E, this documentary reviews the career and personal life of Cuban dictator Fidel Castro. As a youth, Castro worked in the family’s sugar cane fields. He got an education culminating in a doctorate in law from the University of Havana, 1950. Castro planned to campaign for a parliamentary seat in the election of 1952, but General Fulgencio Batista overthrew the government and canceled the election. Castro then gathered support for a guerrilla campaign that would ultimately topple Batista in 1959. After Batista fled the country, Castro assumed power and established a Communist dictatorship with close ties to the Soviet Union. Castro nationalized industry and collectivized agriculture. He executed and imprisoned thousands of political opponents after he assumed power. The new Cuba benefited the working class, but was a hard on the middle and upper classes, many of whom fled to the United States. The U.S. government retaliated to confiscations of U.S. property by imposing an economic embargo on Cuba and helped in 1961 to engineer an unsuccessful attempt to destabilize the Cuban government and overthrow Castro in what became known as the Bay of Pigs Invasion. Castro has supported revolutionary movements in various Latin American countries and in Africa and has become a symbol of revolution. PTBTV aka Pushin’ The Bay EXCLUSIVE! In this exclusive / raw / legendary video, the crew headed by Emcee T aka The Chinese King of the Bay covered E-40’s record release party & rare local appearance at Rasputin in Berkeley on Tuesday, Nov. 25th. E-40 and Sick Wid It camp were there to promote 40’s new disc, The Ball Street Journal, which dropped that same day.

The street was packed with a line of fans all around, outside and wrapped past the corner could see. Earl Stevens (born November 15, 1967) best known by his stage name E-40, is a Bay Area rapper, part of the Bay Area rap group The Click and founder of Bay Area hip-hop record label Sick Wid It Records. After the release of The Click’s first album Down and Dirty, E-40’s local solo debut was released.

E-40 worked almost exclusively with Bay Area rappers until 1997, when he and cousin B-Legit released Southwest Riders, a compilation featuring prominent Bay Area and Southern artists. The album’s aim was to bridge the gap between the two regions given their distinct similar sounding rap music . E-40 jumped into the limelight in 1995 with his single “Sprinkle Me” from his album In A Major Way. Often heralded as his best album, In A Major Way went gold in 1996. Since it’s release in 1995, E-40 has released seven more albums with My Ghetto Report Card being his biggest release since In A Major Way. From 2004 to 2008, he hosted a weekly radio program on San Francisco hip-hop station KMEL titled E-Feezy Radio, showcasing Bay Area hip hop music.

After a talent show at Grambling State University, E-40 and his cousin B-Legit decided to attempt a career in rap. They moved back to Vallejo and teamed up with D-Shot, E-40’s brother, to form the group Most Valuable Players. E-40’s gospel singing uncle (Saint Charles”) helped them put out the record. E-40’s sister, Suga T, was then added to the group to form The Click.
